The Simplicity theme for WordPress features a 250×250 and 468×60 ad banner spaces on the home page. The right column features a 300×250 ad space. You can place one ad or a few smaller ones to fill the 250 x 250 space.

The content column is wide enough for video.

Simplicity also has a featured article functionality. Featured articles are useful when you want to set a particular article off from regular posts.

To create a Featured Article, just create a category called “Featured,” and then place your post in that category. The theme is set up to select and display the most recent Featured article.

You can display the full post on the main page, or you can display only an excerpt by using the “More” function on the “Write Post” page.

The colors are basic blues, white, and grays.
