If you are looking for built-in ad banner space, the WP Magazine theme is a good choice. The right column features a 300×250 ad space. You can place one ad or a few smaller ones to fill the space. The home page has an ad space for a 468×60 banner ad that is optional. This ad space is a perfect location, just after the featured article box, and before the list of recently written articles.
